- Here is a link to Patrick's
presentation on making finials, presented on 6/9/21.
- Here is a link to a Youtube video on spindle turning. The video is approximately 30 minutes long and
describes many aspects of spindle turning, as well as how to create captured rings with no special tools. In the process the author creates a baby rattle from some wood
provided by a friend, the rattle then being made specifically for this friend's 1st grandchild. I hope you may learn something from this video. Enjoy.

- Here is a link that came in an email from Matt Miller. He found our website and had some very nice things to say about it, specifically that he loved our links page and it led him to some great ideas and websites to check out! He suggested another woodturning guide
that he thought would be a valuable addition to our page. He likes this link because it has a ton of woodturning projects and resources, but also, under the 'The Science of Wood and Woodworking' section it covers wood identification, wood hardness, etc! So, thanks Matt, here is the link:

magazine had a special feature on our guild.
The article describes the club's efforts in building a replica of a
17th century sailing ship, The Onrust, as well as making pens and
bottle stoppers in a fundraising effor for the Free Wheelchair
Mission. Check out the
